Tapas
The word "Tapas" is synonymous with Spanish cuisine, and it's true that Tapas did originate in Spain. Other Mediterranean countries have their own take on Tapas, the Italians call it Antipasto, while the Greeks and Turks call it Maze. Modern tapas have evolved into something much more than the Spanish version of appetizers. Tapas are a style of dining that is both social and interactive. Tapas encompass culinary traditions from around the world, and allow one to experience a multitude of flavours, and textures in the same meal. Tapas are best enjoyed slowly, with your friends and some really good wine.
